Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor is all smiles as the Kapoor family gears up for a big celebration; her cousin Anshula Kapoor’s wedding.
Sharing her excitement on Instagram, Sonam wrote, “Ready for my @anshulakapoor, let the celebrations begin!” Along with the post, she shared a series of stunning pictures, showing off a chic Indo-western outfit.

She arrived solo, without her husband Anand Ahuja or their little son Vayu, and headed straight inside the venue. She avoided posing for photographers. This event also marked Sonam’s first public appearance since news about her second pregnancy surfaced.
The engagement was a close-knit affair, attended by family and a few friends. Anshula, who is Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor’s sister, got engaged to her longtime partner, screenwriter Rohan Thakkar, on October 2 in Mumbai.
Among the attendees were Sonam herself, cousins Shanaya Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Jahaan Kapoor, along with Maheep Kapoor, who came with her children. Boney Kapoor, father of Anshula and Arjun, was also present, as was cousin Mohit Marwah with his wife.
Rohan Thakkar, dressed in a traditional kurta, also made a heartfelt request to the media, asking them to respect the family’s privacy during the celebrations.
The love story of Anshula and Rohan goes back to 2022, when they met on a dating app. After three years together, Rohan proposed to Anshula in July 2025, and now the couple is ready to take the next step with their wedding.
